Design Philosophy

This ring, inspired by the “Starry Staircase”, holds a lab-grown color-change sapphire at its heart.

In soft indoor daylight, it shows a calm grey-violet hue—cool, quiet, and elegant. Step outside, and it transforms under sunlight into a romantic violet-red glow—like dusk unfolding into starlight. The band, layered with white moissanite, sparkles like a starry path to dreams.

Wear it, may it inspire you to find your own colors and shine with your unique brilliance.

— StiloVero

Beauty in Every Detail

A cushion-cut color-change sapphire anchors the design—its softened corners and radiant facets glowing with quiet brilliance.

Tapered rows of pavé-set moissanites fan out like ascending steps, creating a stair-like silhouette that shimmers with every movement.

Crafted in solid 925 sterling silver with high-polish rhodium plating, this ring captures bold elegance in a finely balanced form.

Why Are Lab-Grown Gems So Exceptional?

Lab-grown gems replicate the natural formation process, with the same chemical and structural traits as mined gems.

Our color-change sapphires shift from grey-violet indoors to violet-red in sunlight, thanks to trace elements reacting to light.

Unlike alexandrite, which changes from green to red, these sapphires offer a subtler transition within the violet-red spectrum.

At StiloVero, each gemstone is certified by GIS (Gemological Research Institute of Switzerland) for quality and authenticity.

This ring is made incredibly well. The stone is absolutely beautiful. It changes from pink, purple, and blue. It truly does change in different weather and lighting. The accent stones reqlly sparkle around it. The stone itself also sparkles. The silver is gorgeous, its very natural. This is a unique and stunning ring. It runs true to size. It is also easy to clean since you can get to the stones from the back. The price is a little steep, but for the quality I feel it is worth the money. This would be a beautiful gift.

I already have a lot of jewelry, almost all of it gifted to me, or inherited. We even have a separate insurance rider for it. Yes, I have a lot. That said, until a few weeks ago, I didn't own any lab-created stone jewelry and was curious to see how they would compare. I ordered three rings and a pair of earrings. So here's the TLDR on this ring: it's great. It's beautiful and sparkly, with a color that's pinky or purpley or somewhere in between. The moissanite accents really catch the light. Of all the pieces I ordered, this one is definitely the best. It even holds up next to my inherited sapphire and diamond ring, which looks almost identical, but isn't lab-grown. I'm pretty impressed. And honestly, I'm glad I don't have to support mining practices that often involve poor working conditions. Also, I'm a STEM girl, so it's fun to get some STEM bling. Why not? The packaging is inspired. When I opened it, I knew I was in for a treat. It comes in a white ring box with a light that turns on when opened. There's also an embossed white gift bag with silky rope handles and white filler. On top of that, it includes a small box to store the ring and prevent tarnishing. Both the ring box and the storage box are each tucked inside a white suede-like drawstring pouch. It's a beautiful presentation, especially compared to how the other rings I ordered were packaged. When you order from Ti***ny's or a luxe jeweler, they include everything for gifting like this. I didn't expect that from something under $1,000. If I'm being picky, here are some downsides. Compared to my inherited sapphire ring, which has pave diamonds that wrap around the sides of the halo, this ring has more of a scaffold-style halo with moissanite. But you'd have to look closely to notice. And honestly, the moissanite sparkles more than the diamond pave. Also, the band is solid 925 sterling silver with a thick rhodium layer, according to the listing. I don't know how thick that layer is, but it will wear off eventually, and the silver will tarnish. I'm not too worried about it, but it's worth noting. My inherited sapphire ring is insured for well over $10,000. This one costs under $120. For something that looks this good and is real, I'm amazed at how close they are. I love this ring! If it tarnishes someday, I'll just have it reset into whatever I want at the time! It's a great gift for yourself or someone you love. If you get it, I hope you love it as much as I do. And if you're gifting it (congrats on the good choice!), I think your recipient will be really happy.

This ring is beautiful. I have never had any jewelry with color changing gemstones before. To me, there are times this gemstone looks like a dark pink sapphire when I am indoors and when I am outside, it looks more like an amethyst. I like the cushion cut of the gemstone. The Moissanite stones are tiny and are pave set to me. They look just fine next to my diamond cocktail rings. I am beginning to acquire more lab created gemstone jewelry. I love good jewelry and like the affordability of lab created gems, especially since I am now retired. I am definitely keeping this ring for myself but it would make a great gift for a loved one. This ring comes in a lighted ring box. Included is a gift bag, a gift card and certificate of authenticity. I ordered this ring in a size 9 and it fits perfectly on my index finger.

  1. It is a rhodium-plated 925 sterling silver with a 2.7ct cushion-cut lab-grown sapphire (VVS1 clarity) and moissanite hal, and promises to shift from violet to bluish-purple under sunlight, all while staying tarnish-free thanks to its thick plating. After wearing it daily for a week now, here is what I feel about this ring: It has a cushion-cut sapphire, and the moissanite “halo” catches every ray like tiny diamonds; adding a lot of sparkle to it. Indoors under LED lights, it glows a soft, regal violet; step outside, it turns a vivid bluish-purplely color. The rhodium-plated silver band feels sleek and modern, and is thicker band than most rings. Size is true to size. It’s not dainty for sure. No tarnish, and it polishes up in seconds with the included cloth. The lab-grown sapphire is certified VVS1, naked eye can’t detect any inclusions¡ªand the color shift is legit. It is bluish, violet, purplish. Arrived in a velvet-lined gift box with a certificate, greeting card, and care manual¡ªfelt like a high-end boutique unboxing. It is lightweight for such a chunky stone; sits flush and doesn’t seem to turn on finger. Now, up close of the ring on your finger may be able to see it isn’t a very high priced piece, but from a distance it is very pretty, larger, and fun to wear.

  2. I have some experience with StiloVero jewelry, and it’s always a wonderful experience. This ring is no exception, and it’s magnificent! I prefer wearing lab grown over mined gems- if we have the technology to create flawless, breathtaking gems with far less environmental impact than mining them, I’m completely on board.

The cushion cut stone is highly faceted and picks up the light from many angles, and has lots of flash and fire. In indoor yellow toned light the stone looks reddish-orange with flashes of purple and pink fire, and outdoors it’s lavender purple with blue flashes or deep purple and dark red flashes depending on the angle of the light! This stone is truly fascinating, and the stone’s size is eye-catching without being ostentatious.

The stepped pavilion is a unique style of setting, and suits the shape and cut of the stone beautifully!

The moissanite side stones add a gentle sparkly flair that suit the flash of the sapphire wonderfully.

The band of this ring in the size 5 that I chose fits true to size, and it’s very comfortable to wear.

The prongs on the cenrtal stone are secure and well rounded, and don’t catch on hair or fabrics. The stones all seem securely set, and the band is clearly marked with the sterling hallmark at the 4 o’clock position inside of the band.

This ring is rhodium plated, which gives the silver an exquisite clear shine and prevents tarnishing.

This ring arrives with a bevy of accessories for an exceptional gifting experience and with gem certificates, assuring its quality and value.

I am once again highly impressed by StiloVero, and I am in love with this ring!

It is also easy to clean since you can get to the stones from the back. The price is a little steep, but for the quality I feel it is worth the money. This would be a beautiful gift.

  4. This is my favorite ring. I absolutely love it! The design is amazing with its diamond staircase leading up to the big stone. It’s unique and gorgeous! It does change color in different lighting too! Mine goes from purple/red to a purple/blueish gray in outdoor light. Its stunning. I wear it almost everyday. The sizing seems a bit off but not bad. I’m a size 10 usually and this size 10 was a bit snug but I can still get it on and off with a little struggle. All in all it’s definitely worth it!

  5. This ring is gorgeous and I was impressed with how affordable it is for the quality. The sizing was accurate and it fit perfectly right out of the box. The color changing sapphire really stands out and has such a unique sparkle, especially with the halo design around it. It looks elegant and feels like a high end piece without the high end price.
